What does your WordPress hosting service cover?
As part of the hosting service, we also perform plugin reviews. You propose a plugin and we will either accept or reject it. If a plugin poses a security or performance risk or its function is better served by another plugin that we already use, we will not allow it on our servers.
We take responsibility for your site’s security, backup and restore in the event of failure.
I have an existing WordPress site – can I host with you?
We would then move your site, harden it from a security point of view and tweak it to go faster. Once that is done you would have to accept that you relinquish the power to install plugins at will, in order to host with us.
When it comes to hosting, I prefer to make my own technical decisions – does that mean you can’t help?
We can’t provide you with our ongoing secure hosting service. However if you’d like us to enhance your site’s security on your existing hosting, and tune it for performance we can do that as a one-off service. But obviously thereafter it would be your responsibility to keep the site, lean, mean and secure.
